Most years, waterfowl migration doesn’t kick up in the Pacific Flyway until later in the season. Which is cool with my son and I as we love to head out to the fields and mountains for pheasant and quail. As most in the west know, populations of both birds have not been plentiful in past decades. But thanks to groups like these, conditions are improving. We’re pleased that two of the preeminent upland game bird conservation groups continue to grow their chapter ranks.
